Empathize is my poem collection written over two years. It deals with the priceless virtue of EMPATHY. This poem deals with Empathy Towards Animals, here a cute little kitten.

Poem 2: The purr-fect day
A usual Sunday
Turned into a fun day
When we heard a mew
And formed a queue
To look the cute little stranger
Whose occurrence couldn’t be stranger.
A small kitten
Of black and white fur knitten
On his whole body
Searching for somebody
Father had picked her up
From the road that goes up
To that big shop
Where my mom went to shop.
White milk it loved
And mom was scared when she heard
It mew
And disturbed the queue
And spoke
As she shook:
“It is very weak
No one to take care of it whole week
Please leave it back.”
Telling so she turned her back
At the cute eyes
Which could melt hard ice.
Just a few days ago
On the news you know
Was a dog which died
And his owners cried.
It was weak and young
But yet it sprung,
With all energy it had
But it was sad
And was missing his mom and dad.
The news had strung mom
Hence she refused to keep it at home.
We tried our best
To avoid the worst
“Please mom”, we said.
“No dear”, her gentle eyes said.
Now the cute little kitten
After having eaten
Slept on my lap
To take a small nap.
As it slept
I slowly crept
Out of the house
And let it catch the mouse
That dwelt outside my house.
